Free writing

In the holiday I played fortnite. On fortnite their was a Polar peak ice monster vs the robot the fight at first the monster came from the sea the robot started shooting rockets at the monster then the monster came at the robot then jumped on the robot then bit off the right arm of the robot then the robot tackled it into the sea.then the monster came out of the sea and jumped on the back of the robot so the robot got the monster off his back then grabbed the statue in neo tilted and then stabbed it right through the skull.It eventually flu off into the deep sky.

First encounters.

The British Explorer

I’m Captain James Cook, the captain of the Endeavour ship. I have been on many trips across the Pacific and they were rough. I landed on an island which later I found out was called Aotearoa.       I landed Aotearoa on 8th October 1769 after coming from Hawaii.

When I landed on a beach,  I saw dark men with tattoos everywhere. I knew that they were not one of us because they look different, they do things differently and celebrate differently. One of my men shot one of them because he thought he was going to attack my crew. When the people saw one of their friends die they got aggressive and ran at me. My crew shot a few more people in order to protect me and the women started making weird sounds. The men ran at us with clubs and spears so we retreated back to the dinghy and rowed with all of our energy to the ship. When we got back to the ship. The first thing we did was a head count, we had lost 9 people while heading back to the dinghy.

I feel like going back there  but I'm afraid they might kill more of my men. I think when I go back I will land somewhere on the other side of the land. What I saw there makes me want to go back and discover more about Aotearoa.

       RIFLES

In WW1 the most common gun was a rifle, Minigun  the Anzacs would mostly use a rifle. In Gallipoli, the Anzacs changed the rifles so that they fired by themselves.  They used these rifles to fight against the Turks.  

The rifle looked like a normal rifle. The longer the rifle is, the more fire rating it had. 

The size is 16 inches and 40 cm.

Benjamin Tyler Henry was the creator of the rifle. The rifle was made in the late 60´s and 50´s.

The rifle was  developed between 1886 and 1903. During the war, these shorter weapons were also used by the trench infantry because they were convenient.

machine guns of World War 1 were based on Hiram Maxim's 1884 design. They had a sustained fire of 450–600 rounds per minute, allowing defenders to cut down attacking waves of enemy troops like a scythe cutting wheat. 

Today we were finishing off are writing which was about Anzac I wrote about rifles,the easy part was to copy and past my writing on too my blog.The hard part was probably putting my writing on here.I think i have to work on is putting more punctuation.
